Disney has backed the film with an extensive marketing campaign, and it is expected to break box office records with projected profits exceeding $1 billion. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan play the hits, and they do it with a practiced hand. Just like us, they can’t quite believe they get to meet them and have adventures at their side.
